Passed assignment number 3 in Chinese, I did a lot better than I thought I would do. (76%) Not bad for a rushed effort.
Open Uni are letting me continue at the price prior to the fees tripling this year throughout my physics degree. I have 2 years left of full time study and since I get financial support from them due to my current position in life...i'm sticking it out and self-studying Japanese along side it. That way I avoid coming out of uni with huge debts and can add work to my resume in the meantime.
Regarding Japanese...making some progress. I'm recognising and understanding a lot of kanji in anime and Japanese horror films I watch

Just an update. Still alive and kicking. I got a big tax rebate the other day from the government (who else?) so i'm going to be buying a new laptop so I can readily access my deviantart account more regularly. (along with everything else...)
Well...not much is new. Had a chest infection for two months now, been studying to fill in the hours. Japanese and Chinese are becoming my best friends.
